You may know that education nonprofit Turning the Page raises funds through our own used bookstore, Carpe Librum, in downtown D.C. (1030 17th St, NW), but did you know that Carpe Librum started out as a “pop-up” book sale? For twelve years Carpe Librum was an annual, and temporary, event.

Now, we’re bringing the pop-ups back! Our first additional Carpe Librum pop-up will be in D.C.’s NoMa neighborhood and as always, all proceeds will directly benefit Turning the Page and our family engagement programs in D.C. public schools.
