Matt Jarvis is a chartered psychologist and associate fellow of the British Psychological Society. He is best known as a leading exponent of psychology education, from GCSE to postgraduate level. A former psychology education lecturer at Keele University and visiting lecturer at the University of Southampton's department of education, Matt has contributed widely to both psychology curriculum development and teacher development, and has conducted research into teacher stress, e-learning, and effective pedagogy. Matt also freelances as an author and trainer, and has written numerous best-selling A level and higher education psychology textbooks. He currently works as learning technology & innovation manager for Nacro, a major social justice & education charity.
