The Penn Museum's Response to COVID-19

The Penn Museum prioritizes the health and well-being of our guests, volunteers, and staff. Due to ongoing public health concerns, the Museum is temporarily closed to the public. We will monitor closely and share updates through this page and emails to patrons.

All public events have been postponed or cancelled or postponed until further notice; please check the list below for details. However, from YouTube videos to the online collections database, there is always something to discover at www.penn.museum/collections. We are also looking into livestreaming some events and activities—stay tuned for more details.

If you have purchased Museum admission tickets, we would be happy to honor your tickets at any point in 2020. (No action is needed to postpone using your tickets.) If you will not be able to visit the Museum before the end of 2020, please contact Visitor Services at 215.898.4000 during Museum hours or visitorservices@pennmuseum.org at any time to request a refund.

We will continue to evaluate this changing situation and look forward to announcing when we will be able to reopen to visitors. In the meantime, we hope that you stay safe and well during this unprecedented time. Thank you for your understanding.
