What travelers are saying
- Elliott PSkokie, IL464 contributionsI loved seeing this place for the first time! Walking around at night not only felt safe, but exciting and fun.
The atmosphere is lively, and there is a plethora of good restaurants to enjoy. I particularly recommend Smoke and Barrel’s BBQ.
The metro station at Adams Morgan makes this neighborhood quite accessible. If you’re looking for a place to spent a fun evening on the town, I wholly recommend coming here.Written November 6, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - ChinapjsWashington DC, DC3,785 contributionsWent for only one reason. I read in the Washington Post about the statue of Joan of Arc here which has had its sword stolen four or five times. Had to see it. Has its sword right now and the park is a little gem. Parking a premium thoughWritten September 23, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Penny JDurham, NC77 contributionsWe walked here from our hotel. The food was excellent. My husband had the lamb shank and it was very tasty. From the hostess to the wait staff, they were happy to help make your meal excellent. The atmosphere was cosy. I would return for another meal. Loved the history of the place.Written March 3, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- mikekap24Boston, MA50 contributionsThis place is definitely special. It's got a great vibe and I love the live music. Beyond that it's unique - but is that enough?
The menu sounded phenomenal. it was okay. The service was good, the atmosphere was fun, the prices were reasonable - I have no real complaints about our experience here but would I go back? probably not. I can say that I've been there, drank there, ate there - and I think that's enough!Written January 10, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - ThomCat1Washington DC, DC2 contributionsI had never been to get a massage before and I had some recurring shoulder and back pain. I was told by a friend to go to Wat massage to help me out. What a great experience. The location is right in the heart of the neighborhood. The venue is very attractive and calming. The staff are very professional and nice. They were able to squeeze me in for the sports massage. The whole experience was truly great. Highly recommended. Whenever I have any pain I know right where to go! Plus the owner is really hot. (There, I said it! It's true) ;-)Written November 16, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- indraFredericksburg, VA1 contributionA wonderful experience!! The salon was clean, calming and the staff was exceptionally kind. I booked the deep tissue massage with aromatherapy and it was everything I needed and more! I'll be back and refer my friends. Thank you so much for the amazing service!Written August 10, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Allison T1 contributionMy first Wild Terrains trip was an amazing experience (and won't be my last!). Lauren does an incredible job curating a unique and special trip that you can't get anywhere else. Typically when I travel I see many touristy sights but don't feel like I learned enough about the culture. On Wild Terrains trips you are immersed in the local scene and feel like a friend of the people you encounter. There are so many hidden gems that you come across and meeting the locals and learning their stories is unforgettable. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who is looking for a true cultural experience, who wants to connect with like-minded women and who wants to eat delicious food along the way!Written December 3, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- lugeo19Pittsburgh, PA32 contributionsThe place is small and cozy. The music is what you come for. No cover charge. I have never been to a Jazz club before and I had a great experience. There were unscheduled walk in musicians from the street joining in on the music as if it all played seamlessly. The drinks were good, service from staff is adequate.. don't expect anything in a hurry. Sit and enjoy the music, not enough room for dancing. Good atmosphere.Written December 23, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Prawet JWashington DC, DC13,366 contributionsAfter walking up and down the street, I decided to try the place. Well whiskey smell great but I don’t drink that so I got my usual alcohol from wine. Limited selection for wine but plenty of whiskey and cocktail. Food is average good, service is great and friendly staff. Late night bar scene is great. A little loud for me but everyone seemed to enjoy it. I don’t mind trying again though.Written July 15, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- AHWales123Pontyclun, UK22 contributionsA great place to watch sports and grab some beers and food. Also a few games to play and a great atmosphereWritten October 8, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Christoph SAugusta, GA32 contributionsWow. Just WOW. Have enjoyed Jack Rose whiskey bar upstairs before, but the “speakeasy” downstairs for those in the know is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING”. Andy is awesome, we talked for hours and were mesmerized by his hobbit hole alchemy bar lair. Cannot recommend highly enough.Written April 25, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Jeffery BBaltimore, MD76 contributionsLove the place! 🤗🎶👍🏾 Loved our service! 🎶🤗👍🏾 the hostess easily accommodated our large family group of eight (5 adults & 3 kids under age eleven). Our server specialist was Carlton! Great service that was warm, friendly & knowledgeable about the entire menu, including the beer & spirits.
Okay .... the food. I started with the jalapeño cheddar grit cakes & sweet potato donuts. Those cakes were awesomely delicious, even two of the kids liked em (ages 8 & 10 year old girls). The lone 9 year old boy, not so much 😰 The donuts were delicious & came hot, 5 in a bag. Some of the adults had mimosas, which were just right! 👍🏾🤗
My entree was the BBQ omelet with chicken. It came with home fries & Texas toast. The home fries were just luke warm temperature and I didn't like the Texas toast. Omelet was delicious though!
The finish for me was a great beer suggested by our server specialist Carlton - BOULEVARD SAISON BRETT! If I didn't have to start a drive back to Georgia, I would've had a few of this one!
My daughter had vegan wings and she loved em.

- Erin S2 contributionsI love MINT! The facilities are so nice. They're clean, modern, and have every amenity you could want (including mint-infused cold towels that feel amazing after a tough workout). I also really appreciate the wide variety of classes and class times. I can always fit a workout into my schedule because there's so much going on at this gym. Definitely recommend!Written October 14, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
