    Nice property, forgetful staff
    90% of the trip was wonderful! The lobby and room was clean and well kept. The front desk lady was inviting and the food staff were more then helpful/nice. My only problem was with the housekeeping manager. This was my wedding weekend. I had checked out of the room and within a couple of hours I got home and was unpacking. I noticed one of my belongings were missing and remembered I left it on the sink counter top. I called to speak with someone I. Regards to lost and found and was told by the house keeping manager that “the room was already cleaned so I’m sure they through it out”. I was shocked knowing this item was personal and not cheap, I thought they would have at least kept it in a lost and found area. She said she could check the room and call me back. She never did. I called back that evning and was told she left for the day already. The next day I called early when she had returned and she told me “I allready told you yesterday the room was cleaned and the item is gone” I asked if she ever checked the room and she said she would. Again never called me back. So that’s why I am not giving this hotel a perfect score. Otherwise it truly was a great trip …

    Will be five star when renovation is complete
    This hotel will be top of the line when it’s renovation is complete in a couple months. Right now there is construction noise during day time and paint smell. I stayed in a renovated room and it was attractive and comfortable. Very good breakfast especially the omelet. Also a Bob Evans restaurant right next door which offers a good breakfast. This hotel offers supper and a bar. I didn’t use the schuttle but it appeared to be readily available.…

    Convenient location for business stay
    I had business in South Baltimore but some event was taking place that prevented getting a hotel in town for under $400 a night so I stayed at the BWI Hilton Garden Inn at a more reasonable rate for 3 nights. It was only about a 20 minute drive to get to and from where I needed to be and just a few minutes from the airport so the location was fine. My 4th floor room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. However it faced east on Aero Drive which has heavy truck traffic at all hours of the night and was noisy, so avoid a room on that side of the hotel. The hotel has an indoor pool, and a patio with seating if you want to hang out outdoors. Breakfast was good. I did order room service for one dinner, the hummus and vegetables and the veggie burger which were good. The kitchen is competent. Those plus a glass of wine plus tax and tip came to $48 so it was a bit pricey. The hotel stay was about $200/night with all taxes.…

    Worked well for the price for what we needed
    We had an early flight out of BWI, so we drove from out of town and stayed the night at the hotel because of its proximity to the airport. (Very close) The front desk clerk was very sweet and helpful. She was quick, efficient and friendly. We let the kids swim in the indoor pool before bed, but couldn't stay in the pool area for too long, because the smell of the chlorine was too strong, and there wasn't a good ventilation system, and we started getting sick to our stomachs. The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and there was a lot of room. The only negative thing about our room was when the air conditioner came home, a strong, very unpleasant, smell of mildew filled the room.…

    We checked in the day we had our event. The room had everything we needed to get ready, including a hair dryer, enough outlets, and space for 3 of us to get ready. The room was SPOTLESS! I would think we were the first to ever stay in the room. Not a speck of dust and the bathroom was impeccabley clean. When we returned for the night, we slept well, and comfortably. There were plenty of pillows, enough blankets and we were able to adjust the air conditioning to our comfort. The staff was remarkable, kind, friendly, and very helpful. The only thing we would change would be that we could have stayed another night! Check in and check out was a breeze and the cost of our stay was very good and we also had a wonderful breakfast before heading back home.…
