This new US expansion is geared towards North American cities interested in developing long-term sport strategies and hosting international sports events. It also aims to strengthen the link between North America and the international sports world.
Dale Neuburger, appointed director for the new office, is the former president of the Indiana Sports Corporation (ISC), and currently acts as the president of the United States Aquatic Sports Federation and as vice president of FINA, the international federation for aquatic sports.
During Neuburger’s 12-year tenure at ISC, Indianapolis’ amateur sport strategy brought more than two billion dollars in incremental economic activity to the city.
