There is a decent coffee spot, a few bars, one with craft cocktails and oysters, a donut place, a bakery with tantalizing options, fresh fresh, a local creamery, a local meat vendor, a salmon and bagel shop and so...
Visited Union Market for the first time for lunch on Saturday while visiting D.C. It's a fantastic experience....lots of vendors with high end choices and variety.

The gift shop is much improved too (used to be all candy), now it is souvenirs from DC and from the museum.
Then, once you reach the end they have a little gift shop full of goodies and snacks!

It's a great place to pick up farm-fresh produce and baked goods, fresh meat and flowers, hand-made art, clothes and jewelry.
There are super food places, lots of shops and stalls to browse (with very friendly stall owners) and its a great way to get to know DC.

There are three main areas with dozens and dozens of local stands selling the most beautiful fruit, vegetables, and other produce.

It’s located about a block from the White House and should have everything your love king for in a gift shop.
They have a wide variety of merchandise including some good clearance products.

Was so fun to look out for different hidden doors and rooms and checking out the artifacts and antiques for sale!
We were then set off to discover secret doors and an eclectic collection of artifacts.

On the corner of 20th and P streets near Dupont Circle, this bookstore has a large and varied selection to satisfy a wide range of readers.
This beautiful and full used book store is in the heart of Dupont Circle right on P Ave., a block from the Dupont Circle metro.

Capitol Hill Books was the only bookstore (not in a museum) that I made it to during my five days in DC.
If you love books, take the Metro to Eastern Market and look’em up.
