Expedition magazine (ISSN 0014-4738) has been published by the Penn Museum since 1958. This website provides a free online archive of all issues published before the current year
Over the years, Expedition has evolved into a full-color peer-reviewed magazine that offers direct access to the latest findings of archaeologists and anthropologists around the world—many of them the Penn Museum’s own scholars. Issues occasionally focus on special themes and may include articles by curators of upcoming Penn Museum exhibitions.
