LOOK: Lava fountain from Taal Volcano

MANILA, Philippines — A lava fountain from the main crater of the Taal Volcano was recorded early Monday morning.

According to the images shared by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the lava fountain was recorded at 3:20 a.m.

Phivolcs earlier raised Alert Level 4 over Taal Volcano following a phreatic eruption on Sunday.
