Scholarship
Scholarship
Crystal Bridges is committed to furthering the study of American art and material culture. The Museum has partnered with visionary sponsors to create two Fellowship programs for pre- and post-doctoral scholars and high school educators that encourage and support scholarship based on our permanent collection and library holdings.
Tyson Scholars
The Tyson Scholars of American Art Program is a residential program that supports full-time scholarship in the history of American art, visual and material culture from the colonial period to the present. The program was established in 2012 through a $5 million commitment from the Tyson family and Tyson Foods, Inc.
Reese Fellowship
The Reese Teacher Fellowship is open to all high school educators. Applicants may be affiliated with a public, private, or charter school. Fellows will be selected on the basis of their project’s potential to enrich high school curriculum based on an interdisciplinary connection between American art primary and secondary print resources and a subject topic.
