A Look at the 2019 Perkins School of Youth Ministry
In January, 175 youth ministers and workers from 11 states and seven annual conferences traveled to Dallas for the annual Perkins School of Youth Ministry at Highland Park United Methodist Church. With the theme “Breathe,” the gathering gave youth ministry staffers a place for fellowship as well as practical instruction.

Cynthia Fierro Harvey (M.Div. ’99), bishop of the Louisiana Episcopal Area of the United Methodist Church, received the 2018 recipient of the Perkins School of Theology Distinguished Alumnus/a Award on Nov. 12.
