If can find a starker illustration of how bad the BBC has become then I'd like to see it. Ian Miles Cheong is a journalist yet Owen Jones is a Labour activist.

I have a piece in edits that is about acts of protest within blockbuster online games. It needs more voices. If you've been involved with something like the below (especially if it concerns GTA and military shooters) I'd love to hear from you. DMs open.

All day constituents been in touch concerned this is the government advertising in schools - just asked PM to confirm he isn’t and he didn’t answer. Don’t think this example is from my inquiries but worrying PM didn’t agree primary schools should be brexit propaganda free zones…

Lots of Twitter talk today about how games journalists are compelled towards traffic and popularity. Anyway, most of RPS spent the day recording an episode of a fake D&D podcast:

Read this! I can't stress it enough. "Some days it feels like the whole world is being held hostage to male fragility. Sometimes it seems that there’s no limit on what women, girls, and queer people are expected to tolerate in order to protect men."

Why the fuck aren't we talking about the fact that FORTY THREE PERCENT of adults in the UK don't earn more than £12,500 pa? That's fucking atrocious. That's an indictment of our society. So many people with less than a grand a month to live on.

If Boris Johnson ends up with a more progressive drugs policy than Labour, it’s a damning indictment of the left’s lingering attachment to social conservatism in the name of ‘electability’. Decriminalise all drugs possession. Treat addiction as a health issue. Don’t be pricks.

In light of the Tuca and Bertie controversey, I think people outside the animation industry have this idea that there aren't a lot of women making shows because not enough women are pitching or believing in themselves or whatever and blaming "the patriarchy"-

And so it begins. The Conservatives welcome the new PM by pumping Facebook full of Boris Johnson ads. They're running an astonishing 554 versions of these things. Almost as if they're gathering data for an election...

When discussing Universal Basic Income, inevitably the retort comes: "So you just want people to not have to work, is that it?" Accompanied by a smug smirk, expecting me to backpedal and hem and haw, say "Of course not, that's silly." Except...yes. Yes, I do. 1/11
