- Pre-exceptional operating profit of £36m, down 8% following a further steep increase in circulation marketing spend (up 14%)

- EIU revenue growth of 8% with profits 3% higher
- Sale of CQ Roll Call, for $180m, generated £43.2m of post tax profits
