This history of Oregon was written by Stephen Dow Beckham, the Dr. Robert B. Pamplin, Jr. Professor of History at Lewis and Clark College, Portland, Oregon. Professor Beckham traces Oregon's history to the present, and he has prepared an extensive bibliography and also a chronology, both included here.
