This is the twentieth episode of the third season of 30 Rock and for the most part, it's a decent episode. It's funny enough, but not all the subplots are consistently strong. I liked Jack's subplot, but Liz's subplot needed s little more oomph. Elaine Stritch makes another welcome appearance as Jack's mother and Steve Buscemi also makes a small appearance as Jack's private investigator.
In this episode, "The Natural Order," Tracy gets mad over his treatment and he demands equal treatment from Liz, much to her displeasure. Meanwhile Jenna befriends a gibbon much to Kenneth's horror and Jack learns the truth about his biological father.
Overall, this is a solid episode even if it isn't the strongest. I loved Jack's subplot and he may have some daddy issues after all, which is quite funny. The rivalry between Liz and Tracy is an interesting idea, but it could have been a tad better. I rate this episode 8/10.
