My passions are social justice activism (civil rights and human rights initiatives) and volunteering among multicultural communities. I volunteer off campus via the Law School's Legal Clinics at agencies such as: Habitat for Humanity, North Texas Foodbank, Vickery Meadows Center, Housing Crisis Center, and Concord Church, in the area of consumer advocacy. I enjoy dancing, concerts of all musical genres and traveling -- especially road trips with my children/grandson. I love to attend events with SMUSA on campus, tailgating at home games, LOVE the Mustang Band (my son was a member for 3 years, and is currently a Junior in Film and Media Arts). Proud to be a SMU alum, B.A., '13 and M.L.S., '15. |
