The Committee for Development Policy, an advisory body of the United Nations Economic and Social Council will meet from 12 – 16 March 2018 to carry out its triennial review of the list of 47 least developed countries (LDCs).  The Committee will assess and announce which countries meet the graduation criteria for the least developed country category as well as the current status of those countries which have previously met the graduation threshold.

UN-OHRLLS and the Committee for Development Policy are pleased to be running a social media campaign during this time to raise awareness to the issues affecting least developed countries and provide background on the graduation process.
