A bisexual porn star has revealed why he only wants to film gay porn scenes.

Blake Mitchell, best known for his work with Helix Studios, opened up about his sexuality.

The award-winning performer said he prefers to only do gay porn scenes because it’s more professional than straight porn.

He said: ‘I choose to do gay porn instead of straight porn because there’s more money to be made as a male performer in gay porn than in straight porn.

‘But, also, I didn’t want to be a part of the straight industry because of how it can be operated sometimes.

‘The gay industry can be seedy sometimes, but pretty much all of the straight industry is seen as seedy by performers.’

Mitchell added: ‘It’s getting better, there’s a lot more female directors. It’s still objectifying, as it’s still porn, but it’s less degrading.

‘But it still is [degrading] in a lot of ways, and I don’t want to be a part of that.’

Mitchell also opened about identifying as bisexual and how he is treated by others.

‘I often felt in the past if I was dating a guy, then my LGBT card was a little stronger or people saw that as more legitimate,’he said.

‘But if I was dating a girl, then people just assumed I’m straight now.’

Mitchell also wondered whether he identified more with pansexuality than being bi.

‘To be honest I’ve had sex with men and with women. Some of those men and women were trans. I wasn’t attracted to the idea they were trans men or women, but the fact they were men or women.’

He said sometimes it’s easier to be bisexual as he can blend in more with the straight community.

However, he does feel feel like he is then thought of differently.

‘I have a lot of people online that are very vocal that I’m ‘gay for pay’,’ Mitchell added.

‘That’s simply not true. I have a boyfriend currently. I’ve had boyfriends in the past. I’ve had more sex with men in the past than women.

‘It’s also not true for a lot of the men in gay porn.’
