    I'd missed this: White House revoked almost every single press pass (including all WaPo beat reporters) on an impossible new standard. Journos now access only under "exceptions" that can be revoked w/o cause anytime -- and some, like , barred altogether

    why data scientists need a teensy (lot) bit more stats ed than they might be getting in online training

    I met 2 data scientists ("we trained online in 6 months") @ a bar & taught them about confounding. They said "interesting theory. You should write a paper about this". They might regret giving me their biz cards once this and 50 other articles land in their inboxes
