Olivier van Bogaert – Head of Media and Communications
A Swiss journalist, Olivier van Bogaert joined the ICJ in November 2011 to build the new Media & Communications Unit. In the past, he worked as an investigative reporter for the largest Swiss daily in French, before joining WWF-Switzerland in 1991 as Head of Information and WWF International in 1998 as Senior Press Officer, then Deputy Head of Press. He led the WWF Communications delegation to numerous international conferences and wrote field reports from projects in the whole world. In 2008, he moved to Terres des Hommes to lead and develop the communications unit before coming back to WWF International as Special Communications Adviser for various field projects in Africa and Madagascar.
