Technical Assistance

Bioresources animal technicians are able to assist researchers with a variety of techniques. These range from basic handling and manual restraint, through to sample collection, injections, gavages and experimental monitoring such as weight changes and onset of diabetes.

The technicians are also an excellent source of training and advice for new researchers. A number of specialised services are available through Bioresources or through our partners on the Parkville campus. These include CRISPr, rederivations, IVF and cryopreservation. Assistance with statistical computations are available through the UoM Platform.
