Course learning outcomes

On successful completion of Graduate Certificate of Health Economics, graduates will be able to:

- Design and conduct an economic evaluation of health issues or health care interventions using robust statistical methodology;

- Critically evaluate economic evaluation literature and studies for methodological rigour, general application and application to given health systems;

- Critically reflect upon the importance of equity and/or equality for economic evaluations in the tropics.
