The ongoing conflict in Syria has resulted in the largest refugee crisis since World War II. Although no longer making the front pages, the situation is evolving in newsworthy ways. Two years ago, the European Union and Turkey made a controversial deal aimed at addressing the influx of refugees. In that two years, fundamental aspects of the crisis have changed.
