Q: Who pays shipping costs to return merchandise?

A: If you receive an item that is damaged or defected, or if the order you received was incorrect, we will cover the cost to return or exchange your order. U.S. orders will receive a pre-paid shipping label for returning their merchandise. You must email us with the message below so we can have at hand all the information needed to generate the return label:

Hello,

I need to return the (name of the item you are returning) because (briefly describe the damage).  My order number is (enter # found in the confirmation email). The email address I used when placing my order is (type your email address here).

Thank you,

(Full name used on your order)

Email to: merchandise@wikimedia.org

We are unable to generate pre-paid shipping labels for international orders, so international customers will be reimbursed for their shipping costs once their package arrives if a receipt of the shipping cost is provided.  For all other reasons for returns or exchanges, the customer is responsible for shipping costs.

Q: What about shipping and delivery?

A:  Our fulfillment partner fulfills orders within 1 business day (Mon-Fri), a timeline which does not include Weekends or Holidays. Please remember that the delivery of your order is the responsibility of the shipping carrier (USPS, Fedex, DHL). Once a package leaves our fulfillment center, you must reach out directly to the shipping carrier selected during checkout to resolve delivery issues. You should have your tracking number ready when reaching out to the shipping carrier.
