SZA, Big Sean Announced for J Cole's Debut Dreamville Festival

J. Cole will also perform at his home-state festival.

Rapper J. Cole has announced SZA, Big Sean, 21 Savage, 6LACK and Nelly as headliners for his inaugural Dreamville festival set to take place on April 6 at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, N.C.

J. Cole will also perform at the debut event alongside Teyana Taylor, Davido and Rapsody. The Festival will also mark a rare occurrence in which the entire Dreamville Records roster will be performing at one event including Bas, J.I.D., Cozz, EarthGang, Ari Lennox, Omen and Lute.

Dreamville will also serve as a celebration of local culture, music, food and art for J. Cole’s home state. The festival will feature numerous on-site activations including a putt putt golf course, sand sculpture, photo booth, expansive beer garden, an area for attendees to browse products from a specially curated roster of local food, beer and merch vendors native to Raleigh and across North Carolina, and more.

There will also be a specific area on site dedicated to members of The Divine Nine, the nine historically Black Greek letter organizations (BGLOs) that make up the National Pan-Hellenic Council. This activation will be a lounge area with drinks, food and music and will be a great place for members of these fraternities and sororities to kick back during the festival.

Attendees at the festival will have the chance to witness the live creation of painted art activations at the Dreamville Festival Art Wall, which will feature art created by multiple muralists as well as several students from the North Carolina State University College of Design.

Baltimore-based Milly Vanderwood’s Mini Hip Hop Museum, which showcases hip-hop and urban history and features rare vinyl, CDs, cassettes, and more will also be on site.

General admission and VIP passes for the one-day festival are on sale now at www.dreamvillefest.com
