ABC Announces March Launch Date for ‘Roseanne’ Reboot

Nine Initial Episodes Ordered

Sitcom “Roseanne,” which originally aired on ABC from 1988 to 1997, will return on the alphabet network in an hour-long premiere on Tuesday, March 27 from 8-9 p.m. ET. One week later, on Tuesday, April 3, “Roseanne” will air in its regular time period, Tuesday at 8 p.m., into relocated “The Middle” at 8:30 p.m. Nine episodes have been ordered.

The logline: Featuring the complete original cast, new series regulars and notable returning guest stars, the revival will explore life, death and everything in between through the relatable, hilarious and brutally honest lens of the Conner household. With the inimitable Roseanne at its epicenter, fresh stories will tackle today’s issues.

Returning will be Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Lecy Goranson, Sara Gilbert, Michael Fishman, as well as appearances by Johnny Galecki, Estelle Parsons, Sandra Bernhard and Natalie West.
