Featured PhD Scholarships

UQ currently has several PhD scholarship opportunities open for application. The scholarships have living stipends ranging from $27,082 to $47,393 per year. Inclusions, eligibility and closing dates vary. Please visit the links to find out more.

Grant-aligned Priority PhD Scholarships

Work with leading researchers, and learn to conduct research independently and think critically, while contributing to large projects of national and international significance. These scholarships are funded by the Commonwealth Government to provide financial assistance to students during completion of a PhD. Scholarships are offered for 120+ projects which are aligned with recently awarded Category 1 project grants.

The scholarship provides a living stipend of $27,596 per annum (2019 rate, indexed annually), tuition fees, and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).
