Free Cleveland Museum of Natural History Passes Available at the Library

Get a family pass for free admission to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History with your Cleveland Public Library card. Simply use a valid library card to check out your museum pass at the circulation desk at any Cleveland Public Library location.

Each pass is good for a one-time general admission for a household of six (toddlers are always free) and includes a planetarium show. Be sure to check out the upcoming exhibit Built to Survive: Biomechanics, which will on display at the museum September 29, 2018 through April 28, 2019.

Passes may be used at any time, including special 2018-2019 family fun days:

  • Archeology/Earth Science Day on October 13
  • Owls And Howls on October 27
  • New Year’s at Noon on December 31
  • Groundhog Fun Day on February 2
  • Women in Science Day on February 9
  • Dinofest on April 13

Visitors may visit the museum without a pass on the two scheduled admission-free days:

  • Holiday Circlefest on December 2
  • Discovery Day on January 21

Family passes are subject to availability. Cleveland Public Library and Cleveland Museum of Natural History staff and their families are not eligible to participate in the free family pass program.
