Gunna Drips in Luxury On New Track 'One Call': Listen

Ousmond Sahko
Gunna

Gunna unleashed his first offering of 2019 with "One Call" on Friday (Feb. 1).

The 25-year-old brags about his recent victories, all of while flexing in luxury. "Designer head to toe (Head to toe)/ I sip to the head and float (Head and float)/ I already bagged the pole (Bagged the pole)/ You n----s too scared to go (Scared to go)," he rips through the opening chorus.

Gunna also had some thoughts for his detractors to dwell on, but made sure to implement a little shrewd wordplay in reference to Tupac's 1995 Me Against The World album. "Middle finger to the cops, mmh/ Against the world like Tupac/ Say the wrong word, get you shot/ The ho'll love you when you hot/ Thank God, He gave me a shot/ The same ones that thought I was shy/ I took off and went straight to the top," the Drip Harder MC rhymes.

The Turbo co-produced tune kicks off the ATLien's rollout toward his highly anticipated Drip Or Drown II project. There was no mention of the track until just a few days ago (Jan. 28), when Gunna announced plans for the single at the top of the week.

Yung Gunna's Drip Or Drown II was originally promised to arrive in 2018, but a few delays have caused him to push back the Wheezy and Turbo-executive produced effort into the first part of the new year.
