Hot off a win for Best Supporting Actor at the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards, Burning star Steven Yeun has been tapped to star in an episode of Jordan Peele's revival of The Twilight Zone at CBS All Access, Collider has exclusively learned. Sources say that Yeun will play the title character in the series' fourth episode "The Traveler," which follows two cops and a mysterious traveler. "One Dollar" Canceled by CBS All Access After One Season

One Dollar” has the ignominious distinction of being the first CBS All Access original series to be canceled.

Variety has confirmed that the streaming service will not be bringing the drama series back for a second season. The series was set in a small rust belt town in post-recession America, where a one-dollar bill changing hands connects a group of characters involved in a shocking multiple murder. It starred John Carroll Lynch, Nathaniel Martello-White, Christopher Denham, Philip Ettinger, Kirrilee Berger, Gracie Lawrence, Joshua Bitton, Nike Uche Kadri, and Hamilton Clancy.

The series was created by Jason Mosberg, who executive produced along with Craig Zobel, Matt DeRoss, Alexandre Dauman, and Graham Gordy. CBS Television Studios produced in association with Anonymous Content

"The Mandalorian" Adds Giancarlo Esposito, Werner Herzog, Carl Weathers to Cast

The Mandalorian” cast has taken shape.

The upcoming live-action “Star Wars” streaming series has revealed that the cast now includes Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi, and Werner Herzog. They join previously announced cast members Pedro Pascal, Nick Nolte, and Gina Carano. As with all things “Star Wars,” the exact nature of each actor’s role is being kept under wraps, though it has been officially confirmed that Pascal will play the title role in the series.

The Mandalorian” is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. It follows the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic. It will air on Disney+.

"DWTS" Shocker: ABC Forgoes Spring Cycle After Controversial Season 27

Bobby Bones will have to keep that Mirrorball trophy well-polished for a full year.

Dancing With the Stars, which has long aired two seasons per calendar year, is skipping a Spring 2019 cycle, TVLine has confirmed.

Though it’s not yet clear what prompted the competition series to sit out a midseason run, Dancing is coming off a controversial 27th season. After multiple well-scored frontrunners were eliminated prematurely (including R&B singer Tinashe and Fuller House actor Juan Pablo Di Pace), the Mirrorball was ultimately awarded to country radio DJ — and very dark horse — Bobby Bones, who had scored much lower than his three fellow finalists.

"Swamp Thing": Ian Ziering To Play Daniel Cassidy In DC Universe Series

Sharknado star Ian Ziering is set for a key recurring role opposite Crystal Reed in Swamp Thing, the upcoming streaming drama series based on the DC characters created by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson. The project, which hails from James Wan’s Atomic Monster in association with Warner Bros. Television, is set to premiere in 2019 on the DC Universe digital subscription service.

Ziering will play stuntman turned movie star Daniel Cassidy, who became semi-famous after playing the demonic Blue Devil. But now, eight years later, Cassidy finds himself living out his days in frustration, pining for his former fame while on a collision course with destiny.

A Star Is Born” led the way with four SAG feature film nominations while “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and “Ozark” each scored a quartet of TV nominations.

BlacKkKlansman” and “The Favourite” each took a trio of film nominations. “Barry,” “Glow,” “The Handmaid’s Tale” and “The Kominsky Method” all scored three TV nods.

Nominees for the feature film ensemble cast trophy were “A Star Is Born,” “Black Panther,” “Crazy Rich Asians,” “BlacKkKlansman” and “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

Lady Gaga scored an actress nomination for “A Star is Born” along with Glenn Close for “The Wife,” Olivia Colman for “The Favourite,” Melissa McCarthy for “Can You ever Forgive Me?” and Emily Blunt for “Mary Poppins Returns.”

Bradley Cooper, who also directed “A Star Is Born” nabbed a best actor nod along with Christian Bale for “Vice,” Rami Malek for “Bohemian Rhapsody,” Viggo Mortensen for “Green Book” and John David Washington for “BlacKkKlansman.”

Netflix Orders "I Am Not Okay With This" From Producers of "Stranger Things"

Netflix Orders
The producers of “Stranger Things” and creator and director of “The End of the F***ing World” series are making “I Am Not Okay With This” for Netflix, a coming-of-age tale about a girl with mysterious powers.

21 Laps will make the series, which was co-created by Jonathan Entwistle, who was behind Channel 4 and Netflix show “The End of the F***ing World.” As with that project, the series is an adaptation of a Charles Forsman graphic novel.

In the novel, the main character, a regular suburban 15-year-old freshman called Sydney, has telekinetic powers that kick in at inopportune moments.

Freeform has given out a series order to the comedy “Everything’s Gonna Be Okay” from creator, writer, and comedian Josh Thomas.

The network has ordered 10 episodes of the half hour series. Thomas also stars as Nicholas, a neurotic 25-year-old still living at home with his single dad and two teenage half-sisters, one of which has autism. He is not particularly helpful in raising his siblings, but when their dad becomes terminally ill, the girls have to cope with not only a devastating loss but also the realization that Nicholas is the one who will have to hold it all together.

With its international rollout well underway, the critically acclaimed TV series “My Brilliant Friend,” based on the first of Italian author Elena Ferrante’s bestselling “Neapolitan Novels,” is scoring strong ratings at home in Italy, and is also playing well in the U.S. and U.K.

The show, which explores the bounds of female friendship, is being hailed as a milestone in Italian television following its primetime premiere Nov. 27 on pubcaster Rai, which earned about a 29% share, pulling in more than 7 million viewers and becoming the highest-rated drama of the country’s current season.
