'Aquaman' box office collection day 3: The Jason Momoa and Amber Heard starrer collects Rs 7.50 crore on Saturday
James Wan directorial ' Aquaman', based on the DC Comics character of the same name, starring Jason Momoa in the lead role has seen a decent growth since its release in India. The movie released in India ahead of the US release date. The film is the first full-length feature film centered around the character after two theatrical films, following 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' and 'Justice League'.

According to the latest report on BoxOfficeIndia.com, 'Aquaman' has managed to collect Rs 7.50 crore on Saturday. The film collections have seen a decent growth of around 35-40% on Saturday. The movie has till now managed to collect a total of Rs 15.25 crore including paid previews.


The plot of the film revolves around Arthur Curry, the reluctant heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis as he tries to balance the world of the surface dwellers and his own people. Aquaman steps forward to lead his people against his half-brother, Orm, who seeks to unite the seven underwater kingdoms against the surface world.


Directed by Jason Momoa, 'Aquaman' is distributed by Warner Bros Pictures. Apart from Jason Momoa and Amber Heard in the lead roles, the movie also stars Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Nicole Kidman in supporting roles.
