Déda is a regional creative centre for dance in Derby city centre and is the base for our BA (Hons) Dance course.

Our students have a rare and exceptional learning experience at Derby Theatre. We are one of the only universities in the country to own and run a professional producing and receiving theatre.

Our Chandos Pole Street building contains new specialist facilities for Fashion and Textiles. These include light and airy studio spaces as well industry-standard equipment and design facilities.

Our Markeaton Street site has a dedicated film and television studio space for teaching and student projects - and experienced technicians who provide support.

As a Fine Art student, you will have a permanent base within the recently refurbished Fine Art Studios at the historic Britannia Mill site.

You’ll learn in well-resourced, professional design studios and will be able to make full use of the traditional 3D workshop facilities (wood and metal) at Markeaton Street.
