George Eads To Exit CBS’ "MacGyver"

  • Deadline
George Eads To Exit CBS’
George Eads will be leaving CBS’ drama series "MacGyver," on which has he co-starred since the pilot. I hear he is still filming the show and is slated to wrap production in early December. While Eads has been released from his series regular contract and his character Jack Dalton is being written out, I hear he is not being killed off, with the door left open for Eads to possibly return as a guest star.

"MacGyver," a reimagining of the 1985 show, stars Lucas Till, with Eads as the co-lead Dalton, MacGyver’s (Till) partner and old Army buddy. Till and Eads were the only actors from the original MacGyver pilot to remain when the project was revamped with a new writer/showrunner, Peter Lenkov. As part of the major changes, the series, originally supposed to film in Los Angeles, was moved to Atlanta.

I hear because of the relocation, Eads had

Fuller House is really living up to its name in Season 4, as you’ll see in the just-released trailer for the Netflix comedy’s next run of episodes, arriving on Dec. 14. Picking up shortly after the events of Season 3, Kimmy is now playing surrogate to Stephanie and Jimmy’s baby, though we have it on good authority that this pregnancy will be anything but typical.

‘Nightflyers’ Team Talks Melantha Casting and Blending Genres for Syfy Series

The epic fantasy novel series “A Song of Ice and Fire” and its mega-popular HBO adaptation “Game of Thrones” may have made author George R.R. Martin a pop culture superstar, but it was “Nightflyers,” a 1980 novella mashing up horror and sci-fi and the 1987 film adaption that followed, that Martin believes saved his life and career during a low point. Now, that story has been adapted for the small screen for Syfy, as well — though Martin’s contractual commitments to HBO preclude him from having any formal involvement in it.

“HBO owns me, body and soul,” he tells Variety with a laugh.

The Five Best Alicia Vikander Movies of Her Career

It would seem that you can attribute Alicia Vikander’s strength and poise to a great deal of ballet dancing that was sidelined when she suffered a few injuries in her teens. Still, that kind of training ever really seems to go away once your body becomes used to the rigors and is called upon to do anything similar ever again. It’s the same thing with athletes that have been out of their sport for years, they might never be as good but their body still recognizes the stimuli and acts accordingly. But her love for acting might have taken over

The Five Best Jude Law Movies of His Career

Jude Law is the kind of guy that can be what you need him to be in a movie since he’s capable of being funny but not comedic and he’s very capable of being dramatic and can even take part in something that’s inordinately gory. Repo Men wasn’t exactly one of the best films in the world largely because the story didn’t feel as though it was fully fleshed out, but it was still a different approach for Jude since a lot of the movies he’s in are quite dramatic and allow him to express himself in a very honest
