Olivia de Havilland Vows To
Time may not be a luxury for Olivia de Havilland in the battle with FX over her depiction in Ryan Murphy’s "Feud," but the 102-year old Oscar winner is determined to be heard by the Supreme Court.

“We shall continue to persevere in this important case,” the Gone with the Wind actress said today from her Paris home as her attorneys filed an answer to FX’s opposition to de Havilland’s Petition for review to Chief Justice John Roberts and the other eight justices. In November, FX Networks filed a writ of certiorari asking the Scous not to hear de Havilland’s case, which was first launched in June 2017 and most recently rejected by California’s high court in July after it had been dismissed by an appellate court a few months beforehand.

On October 5, de Havilland filed her petition with the Supreme Court citing that her “fight

All the Reasons You Recognize The Lion King's New Scar

  • Popsugar
There are plenty of things you can say about the upcoming remake of Disney's classic The Lion King, but "the cast sucks" certainly isn't one of them. The voice cast is chock-full of big-name stars, from Donald Glover as Simba to Beyoncé as Nala to John Oliver as Zazu. There's even a bit of casting nostalgia: the legendary James Earl Jones and his unmistakeable voice will be returning as Mufasa, the same character he voiced in the 1994 original movie. And if you've been to the movies at all in the past few years, chances are you also recognize the actor who's lending his voice to Scar, the villainous usurper at the heart of the conflict, voiced by Jeremy Irons in the original film.

Chiwetel Ejiofor began his career on stage in his native England, where he starred in several Shakespeare plays including Othello and Romeo and Juliet. He made

You Won't Believe How Long It's Been Since the Original Lion King Came Out

  • Popsugar
In case you haven't heard, Disney's The Lion King is the latest classic animated film to get the contemporary treatment. Like The Jungle Book before it, the "live action" remake of the movie will feature photo-realistic CGI to tell the story of Simba, Nala, Mufasa, Scar, and the other denizens of the pridelands. The Lion King feels like it's been around forever - or at least long enough for its big death to permanently traumatize a generation of children - but exactly how long has it been since Simba first roared onto our screens?

The animated version of The Lion King was released on June 24, 1994. Its 2019 remake will essentially be a 25th anniversary celebration, scheduled for a Summer release 25 years after the original. With the voice talents of Matthew Broderick, Jeremy Irons, James Earl Jones, and more, the film was one of the most sophisticated Disney movies made to date.
