The Nova Scotia Archives offers a variety of services to researchers, visitors and the general public. We’ll help you order copies of documents, purchase favourite photographs you’ve found on the website, or book one of our public meeting-rooms. We’re part of the Bonjour! service sponsored by the Province of Nova Scotia, so we can help you in either French or English, and many areas of our website are available in both languages. If you can’t visit the Archives in person, we’ll help you find a researcher to hire instead. And if you’re interested in donating archival material to the Province, we’ll be pleased to discuss this with you.
For our archival colleagues, the website includes a suite of approved institutional policies, and full information about the Provincial Archival Development Program, which supports growth of Nova Scotia’s archival community.
