Michael Avenatti and Tucker Carlson’s Twitter feud now allegedly involves the Fox News host’s children.

Avenatti, the celebrity lawyer who gained fame for representing Stormy Daniels in her suit against President Donald Trump, said Saturday that he’s “investigating an alleged assault on a gay Latino immigrant committed by T. Carlson and/or members of his inner circle at a club in VA in Oct.”

Searching for witnesses to the event, Avenatti included a 43-second video that showed Carlson telling a man, later identified as Juan Manuel Granados, to “get the f--- out of here” while another man grabs a third by the collar.

Carlson provided a completely alternate description of the incident, which he said took place Oct. 13 at the Farmington Country Club in Charlottesville, Va., where he was having dinner with two of his children.

“Toward the end of the meal, my 19-year-old daughter went to the bathroom with a friend. On their way back through the bar, a middle-aged man stopped my daughter and asked if she was sitting with Tucker Carlson. My daughter had never seen the man before. She answered: ‘That’s my dad,’ and pointed to me. The man responded, ‘Are you Tucker’s whore?’ He then called her a ‘f-----g c---,” he wrote in a statement Sunday evening.

“My daughter returned to the table in tears. She soon left the table and the club. My son, who is also a student, went into the bar to confront the man. I followed. My son asked the man if he’d called his sister a ‘wh---’ and a ‘c---.’ The man admitted he had, and again become profane. My son threw a glass of red wine in the man’s face and told him to leave the bar, which he soon did.”

Carlson said he reported the incident to Farmington management, who revoked Granados’ membership last week after a three-week investigation.

“I love my children. It took enormous self-control not to beat the man with a chair, which is what I wanted to do. I think any father can understand the overwhelming rage and shock that I felt seeing my teenage daughter attacked by a stranger,” he wrote.

“But I restrained myself. I did not assault this man, and neither did my son,” the statement concludes. “That is a lie. Nor did I know the man was gay or Latino, not that it would have mattered. What happened on October 13 has nothing to do with identity politics. It was a grotesque violation of decency. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life.”

In a statement released by Avenatti, Granados called Carlson’s interpretation of the evening “a complete fabrication,” denying that he attacked the host’s daughter and accusing Tucker and his son of being the “aggressors.”

“Tucker threatened me with physical violence and told me to ‘go back to where you came from’ before another patron started filming,” Granados alleged. “On the video, Tucker is shown yelling various profanities at me and threatening me. Tucker’s friend is seen grabbing me, yanking me off my chair and also threatening physical violence while another patron says there is no need for physical violence.”

He also said Carlson’s daughter was drinking while underage.

Granados said he is pursuing assault charges against Carlson, as well as assault and battery against the Fox News employee’s son and his friend.

Avenatti and Carlson have a long, ugly history, including a September appearance by Avenatti on Carlson’s show during which the Fox News chyrons repeatedly referred to Avenatti as “creepy porn lawyer.”
