After missing two games this season because of a suspension, 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster will miss at least two more because of an injury.

That became official Saturday when the inside linebacker was ruled out of Monday night’s meeting against the Giants at Levi’s Stadium because of a pulled hamstring. Foster, who missed the 49ers’ win over the Raiders on Nov. 1, has also been dealing with a strained right shoulder this season.

With a bye next week, Foster will have had a month to get healthy, assuming he returns when the 49ers visit Tampa Bay on Nov. 25. He will be replaced Monday by Malcolm Smith.

Foster has played in 16 of his first 26 NFL games, missing eight because of injury.

“Reuben’s got to get healthy,” defensive coordinator Robert Saleh said Friday. “That’s first and foremost. When he’s healthy, he’s a fantastic football player.”

Meanwhile, safety Jaquiski Tartt (shoulder) and wide receiver Pierre Garcon (knee) have also been ruled out of Monday’s game. Tartt is missing his second straight game and probably will be replaced by Antone Exum. Garcon is missing his second game in the past three weeks because of a knee injury he sustained in Week 5. Garcon likely will be replaced by Kendrick Bourne, who had a career-high seven catches for 71 yards when Garcon was sidelined in a loss at Arizona on Oct. 28.

The Giants, who are coming off a bye, did not have a player listed on their injury report.

Fire relief: Assistant strength coach Shane Wallen is from Paradise, which has been decimated by the Camp Fire. Wallen said, via Twitter, that his family’s home was lost in the blaze and he’s launched a GoFundMe page to aid fire victims with a goal of raising $50,000. As of Saturday afternoon, more than $11,000 had been raised.

Longtime 49ers beat writer Matt Maiocco reported his mother’s house was also lost in the Camp Fire.

“Fortunately, they’re OK,” head coach Kyle Shanahan said of Wallen’s family. “But I know Shane’s going through that and a lot of people in our state are going through it. We’ll be here for Shane as much as we can be, but it’s something that’s going to take time to fix.”

The 49ers adjusted their practice times during the week because of the poor air quality in Santa Clara. The NFL has said it will be monitoring the air quality leading up to Monday’s game.

“We’re ready to play and I don’t plan on things changing,” Shanahan said. “If they do, it’s because it needs to.”
