Testing for a Rise in State Child Poverty Rates of 5% or Greater For 2015-2016

Governments often use poverty rates, in particular child poverty rates, to allocate funds. Using 2015 and 2016 American Community Survey 1-year estimates, this table shows the result of a statistical test for an increase of five percent or greater in state level child poverty rates.
