Regional Offices

The Regional Offices support the regional operations of the decennial census.

Call Centers

Call Centers answer respondents’ questions, handle both incoming and outgoing calls, assist in completion of surveys over the phone, resend paper surveys, assist in non-English survey completion, and offer phone questionnaire assistance on surveys.

State Data Centers

A cooperative program between the states and the Census Bureau that makes data available locally to the public through a network of state agencies, universities, libraries, and regional and local governments.

The State Data Center Program:

  • provides efficient access to U.S. Census Bureau data and data products
  • provides training and technical assistance to data users
  • proovides a mechanism for feedback to the Census Bureau

Census Information Centers (CIC)

A cooperative venture with U.S. Census Bureau and community-based organizations.
