Lost and Found

The U.S. Park Police maintain a family reunification trailer near Survey Lodge, on the south side of the Washington Monument Grounds along Independence Avenue, SW. Check out the Event Map to help find your way.

To Report a Lost Person:

Contact a uniformed U.S. Park Police Officer, National Park Service Ranger or National Mall Volunteer throughout the National Mall. All lost persons will be taken to the U.S. Park Police family reunification trailer.

Park Police officers will be located throughout the National Mall. Park Rangers will be located at the World War II Memorial (until 4:00 p.m.), Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, Thomas Jefferson Memorial.

To Retrieve Lost Persons or Property:

Visit the U.S. Park Police family reunification trailer located on the south side of the Washington Monument Grounds along Independence Avenue, SW. Beginning July 5, you may call the U.S. Park Police lost and found number at (202) 426-6849 to retrieve lost property, as all found property will be brought in from the field at the conclusion of the events.
