The 49ers and Raiders each went large in the first round of the NFL Draft on Thursday.

The 49ers, selecting ninth, drafted Notre Dame offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey, a 6-foot-8, 309-pounder.

The Raiders, who originally had the No. 10 pick, swapped first-rounders with Arizona, and took UCLA tackle Kolton Miller at No. 15. The Roseville native checks in at 6-9, 309 pounds.

Earlier, Tampa Bay selected defensive tackle Vita Vea, a native of Milpitas who played at Washington, with the No. 12 pick.
