The Raiders added to their linebacker group Wednesday, signing free agent Emmanuel Lamur, the team announced.

Lamur, 28, is familiar with new Raiders defensive coordinator Paul Guenther, having spent his first four NFL seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals from 2012-16. Of his 15 career starts, Lamur made 13 in the 2014 season with 53 solo tackles, seven pass breakups and two interceptions.

Lamur (6-4, 245) spent the last two seasons with the Minnesota Vikings as a backup linebacker and special teams player. He appeared in all 16 games last season with eight defensive tackles and four special-teams tackles.

The Raiders have now signed 15 new players since the beginning of last week, as well as two of their own free agents from last season (Justin Ellis and Lee Smith). That includes linebackers Lamur, Tahir Whitehead (Detroit) and Kyle Wilber (Dallas).

While free-agent defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh called off a scheduled visit to the Raiders on Wednesday, Lamur did visit the Alameda facility and signed a contract.
