Tell people what you think

The Doctor's Channel provides great content on a variety of subjects in medicine today--a nice break from the regular routine because they are short video summaries of "hot topics." Then, if I see som...ething interesting that might be useful for my patients, I can take a deeper dive into PubMed, etc. Highly recommend to my physician colleagues, as well as anyone interested in the field of medicine/healthcare! My only recommendation is to make the website more mobile friendly or have an app. I found it a little difficult to navigate on my phone. See More

The study—led by Dr. Anupam Jena of Harvard Medical School—took a random sample of Medicare data for more than 700,000 hospital admissions from 2011 to 2014, and found that doctors age 50 and above have higher patient mortality rates than doctors under age 50. #MatchDay2018

If you’re a patient, would you trust older doctors, or younger ones? Perhaps you’d pick an older one because you think they’re more seasoned and knowledgeable. Or, maybe you’d choose a younger one because you think they’re more up to date with modern treatments. Deciding between doctors ca...

Congrats to the #medstudents matched on #MatchDay2018! Do you have what it takes to be a #futuredoctor? Here's what you need to know. http://bit.ly/2pjD813

I may be a future doctor, which sounds rather smart and noble, but I honestly do not consider myself any smarter than the average person.

#MedStudents are often reminded of the importance of using evidence-based medicine. It is also imperative to focus on evidence-based best practices within the field of service rather than relying on experiences.
