Future Students Campus tours
Are you planning a visit to Townsville or Cairns?
Guided tours of the campus are a fantastic way to get a general overview of the campus, main lecture theatres, the library and other facilities, and are also a chance to talk to current students.
In order to provide you with the best possible tour experience, bookings for tours are essential and must be made at least two weeks in advance (we are unable to accommodate requests made with less than two weeks notice).
School on-campus experience
If you are a teacher, schools can book our specialised on-campus experiences offered throughout the year.
A few helpful tips before your tour
- Arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your tour is scheduled to begin.
- Wear comfortable shoes.
- Free visitor parking is available on campus. The free parking locations can be found by consulting one of our campus maps.
- Cold water bubblers are available on campus, as are vending machines for snacks, soft drinks and bottled water. If you want to stay for lunch or refreshments after your tour, the Student Association refectory would be happy to serve you.
