Interlibrary Loans and Document Supply to other Institutions

James Cook University Library provides loans and copies of most library items to other libraries and corporate borrowers, both in Australia and overseas.  

• Details of the JCU Library Document Delivery policy can be found in the Australian Interlibrary Resource Sharing Directory
• JCU University follows the principles and guidelines of the Australian Interlibrary Resource Sharing (ILRS) Code
• Check the library catalogue (Tropicat) for holdings details including campus location of item before placing a request
• Australian libraries are encouraged to submit requests through LADD using the relevant campus NUC symbol  
• Non-Australian libraries can use the Requests from Other Libraries form  
• Individuals should submit requests via their local library
