For sixty years, NAASR has led the movement to create, maintain, strengthen, and perpetuate Armenian Studies in the United States. Before the establishment of NAASR, permanent programs of Armenian Studies in the United States were the unrealized dream of only a few people; since the establishment of NAASR they have become a reality. Before the establishment of NAASR, publications on Armenian subjects in English were few and often of poor quality; since the establishment of NAASR hundreds of scholarly works have been produced.

It is our collective responsibility to support the continuation and expansion of these remarkable achievements.
