TWO PAULS: The late Paul Jabarra had a No. 1 song in the U.S. when Barbra Streisand and Donna Summer recorded his "No More Tears (Enough is Enough)," co-written with Bruce Roberts. Almost 22 years later, Jabarra has his first No. 1 hit in the U.K., where Geri Halliwell's remake of "It's Raining Men" (EMI) is in its second week at No. 1. Jabarra wrote "It's Raining Men" with Paul Shaffer, long-time musical sidekick to David Letterman.

"It's Raining Men" was originally recorded by Martha Wash and Izora Redman, better known as the Weather Girls. In the U.S., the original peaked at No. 46 in 1983. That same year, the single stalled at No. 73 in the U.K., but was reissued the following year, when it went as high as No. 2.

YOUTH: Lil' Romeo is the 11-year-old son of Master P. The young recording artist is in pole position on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart this week, as "My Baby" moves 2-1. The song is based on the first Jackson 5 hit, "I Want You Back," and by no small coincidence, Michael Jackson was also 11 when "I Want You Back" topped the chart. Jackson was 11 and-a-half years old when he first hit No. 1, and has been the record-holder for the youngest artist to top the R&B chart.

Lil' Romeo, born Aug. 19, 1989, is 11 years and eight months old, and thus misses breaking Jackson's record as the youngest artist to top the R&B chart.
