Diana DeGarmo is recovering from a fall suffered on stage Tuesday (July 27) in Grand Rapids, Mich., during the "American Idol" summer tour. The televised talent competition's third-season runner-up was singing Beyoncé's "Crazy in Love" when she tumbled down a long flight of stairs, according to a statement.

The artist finished the song but did not return for the rest of the show. Post-show X-rays determined she hadn't broken any bones but was bruised badly enough for doctors to recommend she skip last night's concert in Detroit.

However, DeGarmo toughed it out and appeared on stage to sing her hit "Dreams," which recently debuted at No. 14 on Billboard's Hot 100.

It's unclear how many songs, if any at all, DeGarmo will perform tonight when the "Idol" tour rolls into Cleveland's CSU Convocation Center. The trek will be on the road through a Sept. 28-30 finale in Honolulu.
