Kathakali maestro Madavoor Vasudevan Nair passes away
Staff Reporter Kathakali maestro Madavoor Vasudevan Nair collapsed on stage and died while performing at Agasthyacodu Mahadeva Temple, Anchal on Tuesday night. He was 89. Though he was rushed to a nearby hospital, he was soon declared dead by doctors. He is survived by wife Savithri Amma, son Madhu and daughters Mini and Ganga.A recipient of several awards, including Padma Bhushan, he was the follower of the Kaplingattu School, the particular style of south Kerala.Madvoor had also worked as a faculty in the
