Bethany Barnes is on The Oregonian's Public Service Team. She covers Portland Public Schools and has worked at The Oregonian since July 2016. Bethany moved to Portland from Las Vegas, where she focused on investigative reporting. In 2016, she was named Outstanding Journalist of the Year by the Nevada Press Association.
